What is Oxygen Corrosion on Weld Seam?
There are several reasons why the can making industry began to think that there was a material problem with metal can weld seam. In many cases during the corrosion monitoring process, what was mistaken for material defection could actually be attributed to a type of oxygen corrosion called Weld Seam Corrosion.
